We made the jump two years ago and haven’t looked back! We settled near Denia on the Costa Blanca — not too touristy but still lively year-round. My advice: factor in property taxes and community fees, they can vary a lot. Also, learn at least some Spanish early, it really helps with daily life. We used Real Estate for sale in Spain to research different areas and get a sense of price trends. Healthcare’s excellent too, especially if you go private.
