When starting out, information is your best friend, so learning the basics of odds is a must! A friend of mine suggested starting with

explaining that they have lots of information available to read. They said it’s key to understand the different types of bets (like moneyline, spread, over/under) before putting any money down and figuring out what to bet on. Also, always start with small amounts to get a feel for how everything works before wagering big amounts. Researching teams and players can also help you make more informed decisions.
